Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV)  is a national parish-based political but non- partisan lay movement that works  for Clean, Honest, Accurate, Meaningful, and Peaceful elections. PPCRV was born from the realization that the laity must be part of nation-building  and the renewal of the Christian life.

Born from the idea of the Second Plenary Council of the Philippines in 1991, the PPCRV advocates for:

1. Proactive involvement for Clean, Honest, Accurate, Meaningful and Peaceful (CHAMP) Elections;
2. Authentic Democracy, Good Governance and Principled Participation of an Enlightened Citizenry;
3. Formation of the mind, the heart, the New Filipino Voter; and
4. Focus on Marginalized Sectors such as: the Underserved Poor, Untapped Youth, Persons with Disabilities, Tribal Minorities, Abused Women, Urban Poor, Under utilized Labor and other Vulnerable Sectors of Society

Our mandate is to ensure CHAMP : Clean, Honest, Accurate, Meaningful and Peaceful Elections. Our work is carried on and safeguarded by a powerful community of the Church and the Laity exemplifying selfless patriotism, meeting challenges with firm resolve, and made confident and altogether strengthened by persevering prayers. We come alive by the spirit of volunteerism, and our country’s Youth, brimming with optimism and excitement, is at the very heart of our service. The dioceses are our backbone in volunteer recruitment and mobilization. To be a part of PPCRV offers everyone the gift to live in themselves their love for God and country.
