Commission on the Family
The commission was organized to strengthen family life as a potent force of the Christian life. Its activities include a Pre-Cana seminar, responsible parenthood seminar for couples planning to get married, marriage counseling, and pro-life advocacy. It is committed to protect and safeguard human life, to fulfill the mission of making Christian families the stronghold of society and the Church, as well as to be bearers of the Good News in the third millennium.

MINISTRIES
Ministry of Pre-Cana
The ministry is in charge of seminar-workshops which cover topics that help engaged couples have a happy, healthy, and holy marriage. An in-person Pre-Cana is a one day session led by a trained married couple held at the parish. Through short talks, sharing of the facilitators’ own experiences of their marriage and faith growth, and personal reflection, engaged couples are guided through topics useful for a successful marriage. Activities include Sama-Samang Kasalan sa Simbahan, Wento Mo, May Wenta, and Pagbabalik-Tanaw sa Ating Pag-iisang Dibdib.

Post-Cana Ministry
This ministry brings together newly married couples of all ages that meet together throughout the year in fellowship, dinner, and conversation. The group was designed to continue to counsel to couples after the Sacrament of Matrimony. Counsel is not only provided by the facilitators, but also through each couple sharing the dynamics, joys, and challenges they face as newlyweds. Activities include SUYUAN (Marriage Enrichment Program), Family Encounter, Father-Son Dialogue/Mother-Daughter Dialogue and May Forever (Renewal of Marriage Vows)

Ministry of Kids
This ministry offers spiritual support and fellowship to the children of the parish. Through our ministry coordinators, we can also meet the spiritual needs of children. Activities undertaken by the ministry include Family Day, Parade of Saints and Kids Retreat.

Solo Parent Ministry
The Solo Parent Ministry is made up of groups of single parents raising children who come together for mutual emotional, social and practical support. Social groups occur regularly and often are a place where participants can gain practical advice on issues relating to parenting when you are on your own with children. Activities include Solo Parenting seminars and assembly.

Ministry for the Elderly and Grandparents
The Ministry addresses the needs of the elderly and grandparents of the community. Activities undertaken include the Senior Retreat Program, seminars and assembly. Assistance is ably provided by the Office of Senior Citizens Association of the barangay.

Kasambahay Ministry
The Kasambahay Ministry addresses the needs and concerns of househelpers in our families. Their presence in families is not simply seen as a source of their livelihood but a service as well. The ministry recognizes their spiritual and professional growth and hence undertake activities that cover these concerns.

Listening and Accompaniment Ministry
The Ministry provides counselling services to parishioners in need. Trained counsellors explore the spiritual process of another, discuss what makes an effective relationship in Spiritual Accompaniment and counselling, and consider how best to work with spiritual crisis, spiritual abuse, and pain.

RENEWAL GROUPS
Couples for Christ is a Catholic movement intended for the renewal and strengthening of Christian family life. CFC couples have committed themselves to the Lord and to one another so that they may grow in maturity as men and women of God and fulfill their primary vocation of raising families grounded in Christian values, in the service and love of God. Through the years, CFC has blossomed into a worldwide ministry, becoming a major force for the renewal of the Christian family life and also of the church. CFC rises in defense of the family, which is God’s work. CFC wants to bring God’s strength and light to those who are struggling to be truly Christian families in the modern world.
Missionary Families of Christ (formerly CFC-FFL) is an international private association of lay faithful, doing its work in many countries, having many different nationalities as active members, and officially recognized by the Catholic Church hierarchy. Its primary work is evangelization, founded on family renewal. In this, it focuses on renewing the family and defending life, as well as participating in the work of building the Church of the Poor.
Marriage Encounter is the largest pro-marriage organization in the world and promotes Weekend experiences for couples who want to make their good marriage even better. It is a movement designed to give married couples the opportunity to examine their lives together , a time to share their feelings, their hopes, disappointments, joys and frustrations and to do so openly and honestly in a face-to-face, heart-to-heart encounter with the one person they have chosen to live with for the rest of their life. The emphasis of Marriage Encounter is on communication between husband and wife, who spend a weekend together away from the distractions and the tensions of everyday life, to concentrate on each other. It is a unique approach aimed at revitalizing Christian Marriage.
Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon Community dedicates itself to the mission of living the call to be God’s people of joy – channels of hope and bearers of his gospel of peace, justice and salvation. Members commit themselves to the universality of his mission. In serving the Church, members help promote the Kingdom of Christ around the world through evangelization, the building of Christian communities, helping in the promotion of Christian unity, and defending the authentic gospel. Members also offer themselves to the work of stemming the tide of evil, especially in Asia where members believe the Lord has called them and the entire nation to be a light in darkness.
Familia Catholic Community was formally organized in 1993 by Ang Ligaya ng Panginoon Community. Familia is a parish-based community of Catholic families, empowered by the Holy Spirit, who are committed to love and support one another in the Christian life. Familia is dedicated to bringing about Christian renewal and strengthening of families, servant communities in the parishes where members belong. It draws its inspiration from Familiaris Consortio – the exhortation of Pope John Paul II about the role of the Christian family in the modern world. Familia is run and led by lay people who are actively serving their parishes.
Tahanan ng Panginoon seeks to share with the poor the Good News of God’s love and the hope it brings, of freedom from oppressive structures and oppressive values, of transformation towards being responsible citizens of the country and faithful servants of the Kingdom, of empowerment towards self-sufficiency and service to community.
