Parish Formation Center

Adjacent to the church stands the Parish Formation Center, a three-story building that has become a familiar and welcoming space for parish life. It was inaugurated and blessed by the Most Rev. Jesse Mercado, D.D. on January 5, 2005, marking another milestone in the continuing growth of the parish community. Within its walls, countless gatherings, celebrations, and moments of quiet reflection have taken place — all contributing to the vibrant faith life of the parish.

At the ground floor is the Capilla de San Jose, a simple yet graceful chapel that has witnessed many of the parish’s most intimate moments. It serves as a venue for meetings, formation seminars, fellowship activities, and funeral wakes — times when the community comes together in learning, in joy, and in prayer. The chapel, fully air-conditioned and able to seat about fifty people, is adorned with beautiful stained glass windows that bathe the room in warm light. An adjoining ante-room offers space for privacy and repose. The Capilla may also be reserved for funeral wakes and other parish gatherings upon request.

The Parish Office serves as the welcoming heart of the parish’s day-to-day life. Here, parishioners and guests come for their various needs — from requesting documents, scheduling Masses and blessings, to preparing for weddings and other sacraments. The office is manned by three dedicated full-time staff who attend to each request with patience and care, ensuring that every encounter reflects the parish’s spirit of service and hospitality. Within the same area is the office of the parish priest, where pastoral guidance, planning, and moments of quiet counsel often take place — all in the service of nurturing the faith and life of the community.

The second floor of the Parish Formation Center is a vibrant space that serves the varied needs of parish organizations. It has become a gathering place for meetings, planning sessions, and fellowship activities that strengthen the bonds of service and community. When needed, the room is also used for catechetical and ministerial formation programs, welcoming both youth and adults as they grow in faith and commitment. Two adjoining rooms are set aside to accommodate visiting priests, offering them comfort and hospitality during their stay. During the time of the pandemic, this floor found a new and meaningful purpose — transformed into a Computer Hub where parish scholars could attend their online classes, a beautiful sign of the parish’s care and solidarity in challenging times.

The Community Hall on the third floor is a lively and well-loved venue that brings people together for various parish fellowships and community gatherings. Through the years, it has been the setting for many joyful celebrations — from parish anniversaries and assemblies to family occasions that draw the community closer in friendship and faith. The spacious hall is also available for wedding receptions and other social functions upon request, with reservations coordinated through the Parish Secretary. More than just a venue, the hall continues to be a place where the parish’s spirit of unity and shared joy finds life and expression.

Beyond its rooms and facilities, the Parish Formation Center stands as a living symbol of the parish’s commitment to nurture faith, foster communion, and serve others. It is here that hearts are formed, friendships are strengthened, and faith finds new expression in service. Through the years, the Center continues to embody the parish’s vision of being a community rooted in love, guided by faith, and united in the mission of Christ.
